Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?!

Real life and responsibilities have taken up most of my time over the last few months. Working for the “Man”, paying “Uncle Sam” and ducking “Big Brother” is a very busy combination.

I did squeeze in the time to level my Paladin to 80.

I wish I would have leveled a paladin to 80 to begin with. my first toon was a warrior to 70 who I never ran an instance with at all. My second was a rogue, then a hunter and finally a priest to 70. Once I hit 70 with all of them I decided that a priest was what I wanted to go to end game with. When I got to the end game raiding with him i realized that he is a single target healer at best and as far as dps goes, nothing great always ended up middle of the recount meter. Now that I have a paladin I am having an easier time tanking and it is very easy to dps on par with the rest of the raid. This gives me time to work on the guild recruiting and other in game stuff without pulling my hair out and constantly being alt tabbed looking for information on the class and spec.

We moved our guild over to another server that was horde heavy because we didn’t have a very big pool of people to recruit from. Aggramar is about 4:1 with the larger population belonging to Alliance. We have the complete opposite situation on Area-52. I was lucky and had 4 officers come with me but filling the last 5 raid spots is proving to be a challenge. All things considered it is going fairly well.

Needless to say, I plan on putting up many of the posts I have written over my 2 month derailment from the game and this blog. Most of them are gear guides for Retribution and Protection spec that are similar to the posts I have recently published for shadow priests and protection warriors. I also spent the time writing tactic guides for all the Wrath of the Lich King content from 3.2 and 3.3 Heroic ToC, Heroic FoS, PoS, and HoR. As well as raid tactics like an Ulduar Boss guide for the entire zone and a Trial of the Crusader Boss guide. I wrote them to use in my guild as well as have one place to send people who ask instead of 10,000 different resource sites through out the WoW community.

So hopefully if I do have any followers or occational readers, you stick around to check them out and let me know if they are usefull at all.

Introduction

I am not sure where this will go but I have wanted to start a blog for about 6 months now and I have over thought every aspect of the blog to the point of procrastination. So I decided go with a free one and to just start.  I know what I want to fill it with so if after I get it going if  I don’t like the appearance then I will change that and move the content. My goal is to possibly meet some people who share some of the same interests I do and provide another spot for people to come and share ideas. I hope you enjoy this blog, whatever it morphs into.

In short I have a pretty focused line of  interests that I will be posting about, as follows, but not limited to;

  • World of Warcraft
  • Art
  • Punk music (like Dead Milkmen, Blackflag, Fugazi, ect.)
  • Anything to do with Zombies
  • Horror movies
  • And my own narrow minded views on whatever the hell I want to rant about

So if any of that interest any of the reads I can catch then I have succeeded in infecting the internet with my plague….
